Changes to In-Person Worship

Thanks to everyone who has made a reservation in recent weeks to attend in-person worship at Pine Ridge. We have been asking people to make a reservation on our website, and most people have been doing that. We have not come close to exceeding the 50-person limit of congregation members attending in the sanctuary.

To simplify the process, we are eliminating the reservation requirement. Now, we simply ask that people who attend in-person worship at 10:00am send a text mesage to 816-741-5590, this phone number is also displayed in the sanctuary every Sunday. When you send the text, please list every person in your group attending worship. This information will be used to keep track of those in attendance.

As always, everyone is welcome to attend our livestream worship service via Zoom.

Attending In-Person Worship? Here’s what you need to know:

  • Please note there will be no nursery care during the worship service.

  • On Sunday mornings, worshipers should enter through the north or west doors. Ushers will direct you and family members to designated pews. Please allow time for ushers to seat you prior to 10:00 a.m. Masks are required and will be available. Please socially distance as you enter and move about the church.

  • Masks and Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building. In the pews, we request that you remain seated with the people you came with and maintain social distancing.

  • For safety and sanitation, there will be no paper bulletins, Bibles, Hymnals, pencils or other items in the pews. Baskets for the offering will be at the sanctuary doorways.

  • Following worship, the ushers will dismiss people by pews back to front. They will direct people to leave in an orderly, socially-distanced way. If you would like to visit with others, we ask that you do that outdoors.

If you are sick, have a fever, present any signs of Covid-19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had Covid-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home. Thank you for helping us care for one another.
