The love and compassion of our Pine Ridge family extends far and wide.
Mission Trips and Work Days
We travel locally and further away to help communities with repairs and rebuilding especially after natural disasters. We are currently working in the Omaha area on flood relief projects.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA)
We collect funds and materials supporting the work of PDA to assist throughout the world when disaster strikes. We also partner with them for hands on work through our youth and adult mission trips.
One Great Hour of Sharing
Pine Ridge supports One Great Hour of Sharing through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Though we focus on an annual collection that is traditionally received each year on Good Friday, donations are accepted any time throughout the year. A gift to One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed.
Living Waters for the World - installation of clean water systems in Guatemala
Living Waters for the World (LWW) is an organization that trains volunteers to establish and lead water mission teams that partner with communities to implement and operate sustainable water purification systems and health education programs. Pine Ridge began our involvement in 2009 and installed our first water system in 2010 in Olintepeque, Guatemala.
Our last installation was in October of 2017 and to date Pine Ridge has installed seven successful water systems in various parts of Guatemala. With your financial support and the dedication of our members to this mission, we hope to continue.
