Our Staff

After graduating from College of the Ozarks in 1998 with a BS in Music Vocal Performance and a minor in Philosophy/Religion, I served as Chancel Choir & Bell Choir director at Westminster Presbyterian in Springfield, Missouri, for four years. I received a MA in Music, with an emphasis in choral conducting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music in 2010. Springfield is where I met and married my wonderful wife, Lori, in 2000. We have two delightful children, Audrey and Elise. I have been serving as Director of Music at Pine Ridge since May 2003.

I have a passion for music worship in the church to be more than just a nice song or a great sound. It is another means by which we can express our faith and devotion to our God.  Likewise, it is a means by which people experience God like no other. All styles of music can be worship if God is at the center of them. So make a joyful noise!
