Our Staff

Originally from Nebraska our family moved to the Kansas City area in 2002.  My husband Richard and I were married in 1986 and we have a college age son, Mason.

I have been in education since 1998 working with preschool and school age children. I have worked in the North Kansas City School District as well as faith based preschools and have a passion for teaching young minds. I was a founding teacher of Pine Ridge Preschool in 2010 and played an instrumental role in developing our program. We have grown from three to five classrooms and have welcomed hundreds of families into our preschool program. I love that our center allows the children to develop a sense of self-worth and grow emotionally through social interaction in a safe and nurturing environment. The best part about teaching preschool in a faith-based setting is that I can teach the children about the love of God and allow the children to grow in a spiritual direction. My motivation to teach preschool is that “light bulb” moment when a child grasps a concept for the first time.
