I joined Pine Ridge in 2005 and have followed my two sons as they grew up in the church. I started volunteering in the nursery, then helped with Sunday School, VBS, Day Camp, and now Youth Ministry. My husband, Brad, and I have enjoyed getting to know other families whose children have grown up with ours at Pine Ridge. I recently retired from teaching full-time, and have been surprised to discover how many of my career skills from the classroom translate to Youth Ministry.
The Youth at Pine Ridge are awesome! They are funny and curious, and I love their servant hearts. I feel honored to work in this program where young people are invited to gather together to learn, work and play, exploring and extending their faith.
