I joined the Pine Ridge team June 1, 2015 as the Associate Pastor for Discipleship after graduating from Princeton Theological Seminary. In November of 2023, with the unexpected retirement of long-time Senior Pastor Jim Gordon, I became the Interim Head of Staff. I feel called to help the church during this time of transition and made a two year commitment to the church to do so.
What I enjoy most about Pine Ridge are the people and growing together as we seek to live out God’s will by loving and serving our neighbors near and far. I am passionate about helping people of all ages grow in their faith through worship, education, mission, and fellowship. I also am committed to empowering our staff and members to be the church.
My husband Joe and I moved to Kansas City after a short time on the East coast and 25 years in Phoenix where we raised our two daughters. Our daughters live in Philadelphia and we enjoy visiting and traveling with them and cheering on the Jayhawks and Arizona Wildcats, and Chiefs and Eagles together. Wonder where I got my name?
