Someone in the church just sent me this little sign that is pictured here. It pretty much sums up where it is important to begin to think about “re-opening.” Certainly the church has become something different than any of us have ever known, but we have never really closed. 

In the book of Revelation God says from the throne, “Behold I make all things new!” Just when we think we are near the end. Just when we think we have it all figured out. Just when we think we have seen everything. God turns things upside down and inside out.  The seed bursts through the surface. Jesus emerges from the tomb. The contractions begin, and the child is born.
