Spring is finally here at least for today and to that I say Amen! I know our weather is fickle and changes day to day or hour to hour but it reminds me to enjoy the moment and to live in the present. So I am enjoying this day in all its beauty, sunshine and warmth.  I also am enjoying all your “Resurrection Sightings,” all the ways you saw new life this past week. Thank you for sharing them with me.

I think it is important for us to look for and name new life in our midst because as we do this we see more and more resurrection life. Our eyes and ears become more in tune with spotting resurrection in places we normally might not look for or see it. Yesterday as I dropped a book off at the Humiston’s home I watched as their dog Vera shook with joy when Amanda’s parents arrived. Oh to exude that kind of joy when seeing a friend!  

As I look for new life this Eastertide I am reminded of how Christ makes all things new which helps me to find hope in the midst of everyday difficulties and in the challenges in our world today.  May this sampling of “Resurrection Life” from our Pine Ridge family bring hope to your heart, a smile to your face and possibly make you wonder where is the new life in a particular picture. May these pictures inspire you to share your pictures and stories of how you are seeing and experiencing new life with us in the days and weeks to come.
