No loose animals please. The location of the service will be dependent on the weather. It the sprit of Francis of Asisi we will pray for all of God’s creatures, including our own pets.

At the service we will be collecting items for the KC Pet project.  The Kansas City Pet Project is the largest No Kill animal shelter in Kansas City, MO and the 3rd largest open-admission shelter in the United States to achieve No Kill status. Their website says, “We care for nearly 10,000 pets a year and find homes or other placement for over 90% of the pets who come to our shelter. KC Pet Project is creating a No Kill Kansas City – we’re passionate about lifesaving!”
