Pine Ridge Preschool is open to all children aged 3-5 years old.  Our program provides a safe, nurturing and caring environment for every student to develop a sense of self and to grow emotionally through social interaction, intellectual stimulation, physical development and spiritual direction.  Each month, students will focus on a new Fruit of the Spirit.  For example, our September theme may be "love" and all of our lessons, crafts, games and other activities will emphasize that virtue.

 

Parents are encouraged to be involved in their children's preschool experience by volunteering at classroom parties and activities.  We also host a monthly coffee hour at the Holy Grounds Café at Pine Ridge where parents can meet.

 

To provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum for 3-5 year olds in a friendly, caring, faith-centered environment that nurtures a love for learning in each child.

* For those who need extended care, the Pine Ridge Parents' Day Out program is open until 3:00 p.m. on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri.

* We follow the Park Hill School District's birthdate cut-off policy of August 1.  We also follow the district's calendar for vacation days and snow days.

 

There will be an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $55.00 per student. This will include a Pine Ridge Preschool book bag and school supplies.

The first day of school is September 7, 2010!  A parent meeting will be held on August 25 at 6:30 p.m. for the 3 year olds class and at 7:15 p.m. for the 4 & 5 year olds class.

Ask any parent whose youngsters have attended Pine Ridge Church's Parents Day Out program during the past 10 years, and you'll know that our PDO provides a positive and fun (and often recommended) environment for kids!

Our Parents Day Out program serves children ages birth to five years old and is open to both members of Pine Ridge Church as well as to the community. Our program operates according to the standards and requirements of the State of Missouri.

Pine Ridge PDO operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We offer both half day and full day programs. We follow the Park Hill School District on days we are open and closed. We are closed during the summer.

If you are interested in having your child participate in Pine Ridge's PDO program, please call us at (816) 584-1655. Reservations are required prior to the day(s) your children will be here in order that we may schedule the appropriate number of teachers. For the safety of all children and our staff, we require that all children be current in their immunizations.
